This comes late but worth the mention.
In January this year I and other business associates planned a trip to Southern Tanzania and one of our stops was at the Selous.
We organised the trip with Philbert and our first 3 days we set base at the Selous Mapumziko Lodge.
We stayed at the nice new tents with views over the great and mighty Rufiji river.
We were well taken care of with great meals as we explores the Selous Game Reserve.
This was one very rainy period but the warmth and hospitable staff at the camp kept us well fed and warm during the rainy nights as we sat by the fireplace.
This was my first trip south of Tanzania and we will sure be returning once all this is over.
